What is OpenMOSIX?
OpenMosix is a Linux kernel extension for single-system image clustering which turns a network of ordinary computers into a supercomputer.

18 x Intel P4 2.6GHz w/ 1.0GB RAM (Processing Nodes)
1 x BayStack 350 10/100Mbps switch

Software:
Fedora Core 1 w/ AD Authentication & SMB home directory mounting (Head node)
- TFTP Server
- DHCP Server
- NFS Server
Cluster-Knoppix 3.3 (for processing nodes) Distributed via PXE
All nodes running OpenMOSIX kernel 2.4.24
